FavoriteAgent.com Expands with Company-Owned Franchise; Founder/CEO Matt Jones Selects Pinehurst, NC, for Satellite Office

Founder and CEO Matt Jones began franchising the company name in April of this year, when Joe and Robyn Pomales launched the first FavoriteAgent national franchise.

The Pinehurst office, located at 200 McCaskill Road, opened for business on September 15. Jill Ford is broker-in-charge, and Grant Edwards has been named team leader.

Ford, born in Ohio and a long-time Vermont resident, first joined the National Association of REALTORS® in 1986. She has worked in both traditional residential brokerage and on-site resort sales, and she is delighted to be introducing the FavoriteAgent.com business model to Moore County. Her immediate objective is to begin creating a team of brokers proficient in the use of FavoriteAgent’s Lead Capture Module, or LCM. Ford was introduced to Jones’ company several months ago when she became an agent partner. FavoriteAgent has more than eleven hundred agent partners throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, and Kosovo.

Edwards, who is a native of Fayetteville, has been a broker and REALTOR® with FavoriteAgent.com for the past year. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, he was a partner in Edwards’ Music Store for more than twenty years. In the Pinehurst office, his responsibilities will include selling real estate, organizing team activities, and assisting the broker-in-charge. With a goal of recruiting twenty agents for the Pinehurst/Aberdeen/Southern Pines area, he wants to see his office make an immediate impact in terms of transactions using the FavoriteAgent lead-capture technology.

Among the first recruits for the Pinehurst office are Linda Martinson, a Licensed Practical Nurse who is also a REALTOR® for FavoriteAgent, and Maria Choueri, a broker and agent who earned two Associate’s degrees from Fayetteville Technical Community College.

The company’s president, Matt Jones, is to be interviewed in an upcoming segment on CNN titled “Special Report: Changing the Way Real Estate Is Sold in America.” He was also featured recently in a nationally syndicated newspaper article, “The Housing Scene,” by Lew Sichelman, who is considered the father of real estate news writing in the United States.
