New Ecopreneur Portal Allows Green Investors to Participate in Early Stage Eco-Businesses

At the Ecopreneur Portal (www.ecostructure.us) investors can view and assist green companies that appeal to both their investment objectives and environmental interests. Ecostructure Financial estimates there are 4000 to 20,000 ecological entrepreneurs currently developing simple, scalable, and profitable solutions to issues such as deforestation, collapse of marine ecosystems, global warming, and urban sprawl. First unveiled in May, the Ecopreneur Portal is now attracting a growing number of Ecopreneurs, Eco-Investors, and General Interest members.

(PRWEB) October 2, 2006 -- With Richard Branson’s recent commitment of $3 billion of investment capital for environmental solutions, the “green” economy is clearly set to take off. However, until now, most eco-minded people have been excluded from investing in early-stage green businesses.

“The longstanding disconnect between green investors and ecologically-motivated entrepreneurs is now greatly reduced with our new Ecopreneur Portal,” said Mark Winstein, president of Ecostructure Financial of Moscow, Idaho. “We finally have an easy way for profit-motivated green investors to match up with for-profit Ecopreneurs to help solve global environmental challenges.

“Accredited” investors can register for a monthly fee of $35 and review business proposals from a range of ecological solution companies posted at the site. Revenue generated by the monthly fee helps Ecostructure provide free technical assistance to develop business strategies and structure financing for the Ecopreneurs listed at the site.

Mark Winstein, Ecostructure’s President, has been an ecological entrepreneur for over 20 years. His goal is to mass produce solutions to today’s ecological challenges by helping develop and finance a steady stream of new companies dedicated to ecosystem restoration, health, and vitality.
