Is It Too Early to Begin Thinking About Giving This Holiday Season
Madonna House Inc. and Blossom International Inc. team up to bring a happy holiday season to families in need.
MANASQUAN (PRWEB) October 2, 2006 -- Imagine if you could give struggling families and their children holiday seasons of joy instead of worry and disappointment. That is the goal of one local non profit that has already begun collecting donations for local families in need.
Blossom International will be working with Madonna House of Neptune this holiday season. The Madonna House began providing clothing, toys, juvenile furniture, infant formula and diapers to needy families and children in 1987. This year Blossom International of Manasquan will be working with them through Blossom’s Gift of Goodness program. A Holiday Drive to collect donations in order to purchase items from a wish list created by the needy children for this upcoming holiday season has already begun.
“There is so much you can do to help us make this Holiday Drive a success. We need cash donations but we also need volunteers and have a list of items that can be purchased and dropped off. Even donating $5.00 makes a difference.” said Michele Rodriguez, coordinator of this year’s Holiday Drive.
Those interested can make a donation online at www.blossominternational.org or mail their donation to Blossom International Inc., PO Box 421, Manasquan, NJ 08736. All donations must be received by December 4, 2006 in order to go towards the Gift of Goodness program’s Holiday Drive.
