While many people dress up at Halloween as Witches, there are hundreds of thousands of people worldwide studying to become a Witch. The largest online Wiccan educator, Witch School, helps thousands daily with their studies. Of course, this is a real school for Witches and Wiccans, and that is not to be taken lightly. In order to meet the growing demand, Witch School has a new president just in time for Samhain and he is the Rev. Don Lewis.
Rev. Don Lewis' primary duty as the new President of Witch School is to assure the day-to-day studies of the 170,000 plus students on a global basis. People all over the world come to the site to study this ancient art and modern faith, most of them at no cost.
In taking this position Don comes well prepared for the unusual duties he will be called upon to do. In addition to being the new Witch School President, Rev. Don Lewis is the Head of the Correllian Tradition. Rev. Don has written no fewer than twelve books on Correllianism, effectively defining the Correllian faith. He has also written on a wide range of other religious, metaphysical, and historical subjects. In addition he has created a number of video courses based on his written works.
First well-known as an artist, Rev. Don's artwork has been seen in many prominent Pagan publications over the last thirty years, and he has brought out several collections of his Pagan art as clipart packages so that everyone may use it. Rev. Don is also known as a writer on Pagan and metaphysical subjects, and especially as the editor of Wheel of Hekate magazine in the 80's, and The Round Table magazine in the 90's. Rev. Don has appeared on numerous radio and television programs, and was co-host of the radio program s Psychic Chicago, The Witching Hour, and Telepathic Radio.
Rev. Don has been the principle content editor for Witch School from its inception and formerly served as Chancellor of the school, stepping down from that office in May of this year. Rev. Don's encyclopedic background makes him an ideal choice for president of the school.
Included with Witch School is The Daily Spell, a daily Ezine celebrating it's ninth anniversary in November. It gives out information and stories of importance to the Pagan and magickal community. Also associated with Witch School is Magick.tv, the metaphysical Internet television station which broadcasts the Correllian Daily Prayer, several Witch School courses, and The Interactive Grimoire. Together they are an exceptional foundation to a dedicated educational not-for-profit company, and they will certainly serve the entire global community better.
Rev. Don Lewis will also oversee the move of Witch School from a private company to a not-for-profit, and on Jan. 1, 2007 Don will take over the Witch School website as CEO and President of Witch School & Seminary, Inc., an Illinois registered not-for-profit company, and the former Witch School, Inc. private company will be closed by agreement of the majority shareholders. This will allow Witch School to act fully in the public interest of it's students, mentors, and the ordination boards of various churches and temples.
Witch School has become the premiere place to study Wicca and Magick. To find out more information go to http://www.WitchSchool.com, or call 217-283-4360.
