Company Employee Transitions to Business Owner

What are people, with little prospects of becoming wealthy by working for other people, doing to earn more money? Transitioning from employee to business owner is often the most daunting leap to make. However once this is done, following a Plan maximizes opportunity for success.

Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) October 22, 2006 -- One of the most basic assumptions of economics is that people know what they want. The more people learn about what they want, the more they realize that it usually takes more money then they are earning.

So what are people, with little prospects of becoming wealthy by working for other people, doing to earn more money and create wealth?

Sandor Panton is one example of someone who 'defies the company stereotype' and has successfully transitioned from company employee to business owner. Panton is a young entrepreneur based in Jamaica and owner of the successful website business, top5jamaica.com, a marketing site which he started as part of a university project. The site currently attracts around 250,000 unique visitors per month.

After completing his degree, Panton found employment with a small company in Canada responsible for marketing and advertising online. He realized he could be starting his own business and so set about developing his business ideas. Panton decided he needed to have a secure income stream while he was starting his own company and so he negotiated with his employer for part-time work as a remote consultant.

Sean Conway, Managing Director, The Millionaire's Plan says "This is the innovative thinking that allows people to break away from employers, start their own business whilst still generating an income to support living costs.

If people are willing to take a reduction in income to start their own business, they can actually start to grow their business in a relatively stable environment."

The team behind The Millionaire's Plan has spent 5 years researching the behaviors, attitudes, strategies and actions of highly successful, wealthy people around the world.

Sean Conway, Managing Director, The Millionaire's Plan "The Millionaire's Plan is directly relevant to exceptional people seeking outstanding performance in all areas of their life, particularly their wealth creation."
