M3 Kicks Off 3rd Annual Poetry Contest For Tweens Ages 8-13

M3 Girl Group debuts their 3rd Annual Poetry Contest. The group is excited that this year the contest will be open to tweens in Canada as well as the United States.

(PRWEB) October 4, 2006 -- Tweens ages 8-13 are eligible to submit their poem in hopes that they have the winning entry. Tween sisters Megan, Morgan and Madison, who form the girl group, M3, have partnered with Scholastic, Borders, School Box and UGOGRL and are very excited about this years contest. "Poetry does not have to be a lost art for tweens and teenagers. It's very important that we have a Maya Angelou in our generation.

The deadline to enter the contest is December 31,2006. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be announced on or around April 2006. M3 hopes to encourage more kids their age to read and write poetry. The winning entries will be selected based on originality, creativity and literary merit. Winning entries will be published on the M3 website as well as winning prizes.
