Sunrise, FL (PRWEB) October 4, 2006 -- Learn.com®, the global leader in on-demand workforce productivity, announced today that the company has opened and occupied an additional, 20,000 square foot facility adjacent to its current 20,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Sunrise, Florida, to support its significant business and employee growth. The additional state-of-the-art facility will house the company’s client support, product development and inside sales teams.

“After more than one year of planning and development, the new facility doubles the size of Learn.com’s campus headquarters in south Florida and will handily accommodate our fantastic business growth,” said Jim Riley, Chief Executive Officer of Learn.com. “The occupancy of the new facility speaks to our core philosophy and practice of not outsourcing our technology development or client support. We have taken great strides to empower our team members with a state-of-the-art security- hardened facility. Additionally, our corporate culture and philosophy extend to our Mentor and support teams working from our corporate facility in Connecticut.”

“The new facility features a cutting-edge Redundant Network, a voice-over IP phone system, and is less than 20 miles from our FEMA Class-One hosting facility, which has delivered uninterrupted uptime to hundreds of our Software as a Service clients since we moved to that facility over seven years ago,” said JW Ray, Chief Operating Officer of Learn.com. ”In fact, our SaaS facility survived Hurricane Andrew, a category 5 hurricane and did not experience even one minute of downtime. The expanded corporate campus strengthens Learn.com’s position as a leading innovator and symbolizes our commitment by using an organically grown team, who understands our clients’ needs, goals and objectives; develops our award-winning products; and provides the world-class support our clients deserve.”

The new facility is located at 14001 NW 4th Street in Sunrise. Learn.com invites all clients and neighboring businesses to join the Learn.com Team for a grand opening reception on October 17 at 6 p.m. Eastern, please RSVP to learn.com. All telephone numbers will remain unchanged.
