Gold Coast, Qld (PRWEB) October 4, 2006 -- The Tubbie Company, is officially launching a new, exciting and innovative way to eat ice cream, a one-of-a-kind product called the Tubbie. The Tubbie is a re-usable and funky ice cream insulator and cooler. The product makes eating ice cream a lot more enjoyable.
Lisa Wells, Director and inventor of the Tubbie said, “We saw an opportunity within the market to develop a cool way of ensuring that ice creams could be eaten in their tubs without freezing your fingers, mopping up condensation from soggy tubs and keeping the rest of the ice cream cool for future use”.
Made from durable neoprene and covered with fluffy animal prints including Moo-Moo, Tiger and Leopard, the Tubbie has been proven to minimise the rapid melting of your ice cream.
A cooler for your ice cream is a unique idea. Currently the Tubbie is available in 500 mil and 1 litre ice cream tub sizes which are purchased regularly from supermarkets and leading ice cream retailers. The Tubbie Company, which is Australian owned, plans to be the first to produce and distribute such ice cream coolers, nationally and overseas with more sizes and shapes to follow.
Lisa also said, “It has been fun developing and testing the many prototypes and the end result has been scientifically tested to ensure the Tubbie keeps your ice cream colder twice as long”.
The first Tubbies off the production line are available via the company's new website. Lisa said “Customers are already asking for additional Tubbies for their partner or friends, we are extremely excited at the response and it will not be long before every household in Australia will have a fluffy Tubbie next to the stubbie holder”.
The Tubbie is excellent in cold weather as it keeps your fingers warm and dry. When the weather is warmer, the ice cream in a Tubbie takes twice as long to reach melting point.
The Tubbie Company is currently looking for retail businesses who are interested in stocking what is truly a unique and exciting Australian innovation.
