New Website Predicts Winners of Boxing Fights

(PRWEB) October 19, 2006 -- Boxing Guru Evan Young has launched a new website that predicts the outcome of boxing fights for the purpose of betting on boxing. Young, a lawyer who turned his lifelong interest in boxing into a full time business, forecasts winners of boxing fights and offers boxing betting tips at Boxing Forecast.

Since the age of eleven, Evan -- who was brought up in the hometown of boxing champions Rocky Marciano and Marvin Hagler, Brockton, Massachusetts -- has been studying the science of boxing odds. Now, more than 30 years and thousands of fights later, he is putting that dedication to work for boxing bettors on his website.

Evan’s talent for predicting outcomes of boxing matches is backed by his Track Record Fund, which shows that $1,000 wagered in April 2005, in accordance with Evan’s recommendations for betting on boxing, would be worth over $300,000 today.

Most of Evan’s picks go against boxing odds, because betting on a favorite involves risking a lot to win a little, while betting on an undervalued underdog is the opposite. When betting on boxing, one win can more than make up for several losses. And although he recommends wagering only a small percentage of the fund on each contest, the power of compounding boxing fights increases the money making potential.

Evan is able to choose winning underdogs by: knowing the advantage of one style over another; carefully analyzing each fighter’s previous contests; looking at conditioning, training, management, age, lifestyle; and allowing for the possible bias of referees and judges. He has developed the ability to recognize when the sports-book boxing odds-makers are wrong, and have underrated the underdog or overrated the favorite.

Evan calls this “finding value” in a boxing fight. His strategy is similar to investing in the stock market. Undervalued stocks have a greater chance of making a profit. Likewise, an underrated boxer has a chance of being a frequent winner against the odds. No one can predict the future all the time of course. Evan’s picks win often, but there is no “sure thing” when it comes to boxing odds, which is why he offers a carefully thought out system for minimizing risk on his web site.

Subscribers to BoxingForecast.com start off with a 30-day free trial, and the monthly subscription is free following any month that his track record does not increase in value. BoxingForecast.com is not a web site for betting on boxing. It is for information and entertainment only. Wagers are neither solicited nor accepted, nor does the site encourage or condone gambling in jurisdictions where it is prohibited.
