InsureMe Receives Leadership Development Award

Insurance shopping service recognized in national rankings.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) October 4, 2006 -- InsureMe, an insurance lead referral business, was recently recognized as having one of the top leadership development programs in the country.

Leadership Excellence, a monthly magazine covering organizational and executive development, surveyed and rated 600 organizations known for their in-house leadership programs. InsureMe ranked 4th among organizations with 2000 or fewer employees. Winners in other categories included Motorola, Jet Blue Airlines and Home Depot.

InsureMe CEO Tim McTavish said leadership-building has been a priority since 1993, the year he founded the company. Leadership is one of InsureMe’s “core values,” McTavish said, along with love, integrity and innovation.

"I can't overemphasize the importance of leadership development," said McTavish. “Not only does it make for a dynamic and fun work environment, but it helps us improve our product and serve our customers better.”

Leadership Excellence Editor Ken Shelton said this year’s winning programs all share one quality that is often missing from corporate leadership-building efforts: return on investment.

According to Shelton, the benefits of a finely tuned leadership program are widespread: “The result is a squeaky-clean, cost-efficient, people-friendly, well-managed, customer-focused, best-in-class, award-winning, market-competitive and employee-loved organization.”

Shea Kubischta, InsureMe’s network manager and volunteer member of the company’s leadership team, is proud of InsureMe’s efforts. “Our leadership program demonstrates InsureMe’s confidence in its employees and their ability to influence others,” said Kubischta. “We want everyone to lead, regardless of their formal position or title.”
