The challenge entails three core categories – Interior, Exterior and Horsepower improvements. Stock vehicles, direct from the factory, were turned over to the competition teams. The demand was to have the ultimate "Tuner" ready for an all-encompassing final showdown.    

The pressure to compete against the other teams has been documented for twelve episodes, over three intense months. No exceptions given - No extensions offered.

STC reveals the toughest phase of the series challenge: Horsepower! Hard numbers on the Dyno, a grulling Time Attack showdown - pounding over twisting turns on the track, then a drag strip war… all at the Willow Springs Motorsports Park complex in Rosamond, California.

Street Tuner Challenge co-producer, Megan Waters stated, “Each team, built to out-play each other on every level. The different strategies used to reach their deadline intact and ready, has made this a very intense competition.”

The stage is set in the hot high desert. 3 Teams, 3 Machines and 3 Reputations - vie for it all, in a torturous one-day showdown.
