Dantel, Inc. the leader in network surveillance and management systems today, announced the availability of an industrial grade Ethernet switch with copper and fiber interface options for its WebMon Edge and Matrix remote monitoring platforms. The industrial grade Ethernet switch allows service providers to cost effectively deploy additional network devices on the network, using the WebMon Edge and Matrix, without compromising network speed.
The fiber optic interface can provide conversion from dual fibers to a single fiber using on-board Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology. “The Ethernet switch and media conversion interface allows for a myriad of cost saving solutions for data transport over copper and fiber optic infrastructure,” said Ifty Husain, director of engineering at Dantel.
