Music Stars Premiering Member-created Custom Animated Music Videos on Teen Online Community Habbo
Habbo, one of the world’s largest online social networks for teens, will premiere custom member-created music videos for recording artists Lady Sovereign (Universal Def Jam) and Jeannie Ortega (Hollywood Records), as part of branding campaigns that include billboards, branded rooms, and customized interactive content within the community.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 6, 2006 -- For the “Habbo Fans Version Animated Music Videos”, members created dance moves and scenes using their Habbo characters, which will be edited into animated music videos for the artist’s new songs. Ortega’s video, for the song, “Crowded”, will premiere in mid October, with Lady Sovereign’s “Gatheration” premiering October 24th. This is the first time a social networking community has created music videos featuring member avatar characters, and Habbo plans to continue the trend with several more featured artists. In addition to airing the videos on Habbo, they will be played on the jumbotrons at upcoming concerts, offering members the chance to see their Habbo characters on the big screens.
