National Talent Search Schedule Announced for Shooting Star Competition

Starz in Motion, a promoting agency for entertainers nationwide, has announce the schedule for the Shooting Star national talent search, a competition looking for the next great singer or group.

Miami, FL (PRWEB) October 6, 2006 -- Prestige Promotions announced today the remainder of the competition schedule for the national talent search, Starz in Motion’s "Shooting Star".

The Auditions for the remainder of the 2006 talent search competition will be conducted in the following cities, before the start of the upcoming ABA Basketball League season as pre-season entertainment:

The remainder of this year’s talent search competition will be very fast-paced and thrilling, as we lead into the start of the 2006 ABA season. An exciting announcement will be made shortly on the Final competition.
 
  • October 13-14: Mobile, AL - South Alabama Bounce Exhibition Game
  • October 15-18: Orlando, FL - Orlando Orange Men Press Conference & Party
  • October 21-22: Carson, CA - Carson Buzz Exhibition Game
  • October 27-28: San Diego, CA - San Diego Wildcats Exhibition Game
  • November 3-4: Chicago, IL - Chicago Rock Stars Exhibition Game

Aspiring singers and groups will have the chance to audition to be selected as a contestant in the Shooting Starz Talent Search Finals in Miami, Florida mid-November. The most talented contestants will be chosen from local auditions and invited to perform halftime at the local ABA game, where the audience will vote by applause to determine the winner.

Semi-Finalists selected from each city will be featured online at www.StarzInMotion.com, and invited to perform at the Final Competition in Miami. Winners will take part in the Starz in Motion Tour featuring winners and receive the opportunity for recording contracts, professional production of original music, and other prizes from our sponsors.

The first audition for Shooting Starz National Talent Search made its debut during the ABA Great 8 Championship Playoffs this past March in Rochester, NY, where the 6 contestants selected from the auditions competed during the ABA Championship Games halftime. The audience selected "The (Robinson) Krew" as the winner, to represent Rochester in the Finals. The following talent search competition was held at the NASCAR Fan Jam at Memphis Motor Sports Park on July 14, where Holly Hobbs was chosen as the Finalist to represent Memphis.
