FindProxy.org - Site launch, Internet Privacy and Anonymous Web Browsing

Launching web surfing guide for complete anonymous surfing and online privacy.

(PRWEB) October 10, 2006 -- Find Proxy launches its site to provide visitors with a directory of public anonymous proxy servers available for protecting personal information when browsing the internet and information related to anonymous web surfing.

Internet Security and Privacy has always been a concern for users as many websites or individuals with malicious intentions constantly seek weaknesses in PC and server security over the internet.

One of the most common processes through which information is compromised is by tracking, or browsing profiles. Sites that apply tracking gather visitor's information, such as IP address and browsing habits by collecting the URLs visited by the person that reaches the site. There are several marketing research organizations oriented to the internet that use this information in a legitimate form to understand Internet user profiles.

Although this process is considered harmless by many, some people believe that it nevertheless constitutes a privacy violation. On the other hand, websites that use tracking may have intentions that are not at all legitimate and may compromise visitor's personal information at a higher risk level.

In order to avoid risks to personal information when browsing the internet, many surfers are choosing to use anonymous proxy surfing, due to its many advantages when using a web browser.

By using an anonymous proxy server, the main privacy feature is that it hides your IP address. IP addresses are unique numbers assigned to each computer connected to a network, such as the internet. Along with IP addresses, when browsing a website, other information may be retrieved by malicious spyware and later used for marketing purposes, or computer hacking.

In order to avoid these risks, FindProxy.org, provides a list of proxy servers available for public use when surfing the internet and protecting both user and PC information.

In spite of the fact that there are several sites that provide access to anonymous proxy servers, there is usually very little or no information available on these sites that help visitors that are not proxy server savvy to understand its different uses and advantages. For this reason, FindProxy.org also provides constantly updated articles related to proxy servers, anonymous proxy surfing, internet security, and internet privacy, in order to provide visitors to the site with information necessary to thoroughly understand how these proxies work and how to protect their personal information when accessing websites.
