Leadership Through Power Conversations
“recognize others worth and then build on the worth.” He said, “through logic, through style and through content what stands out and sticks in...is emotion (heart).”
(PRWEB) October 11, 2006 -- As a yearly development program of the World Scout Bureau APR staff, this year’s theme was “Leadership through Power Communications.” A seasoned motivational speaker, Mr. Raju Mandhyan, facilitated the weekend workshop, which was coordinated by this year’s learning manager Luz Taray.
Mandhyan is the author of The Heart of Public Speaking. He effectively delivered the principles of Appreciative Inquiry (AI), Neuro Linguistic Program (NLP), Mind Mapping for structuring thoughts, and mastering holistic detachment through physiology. Words from him that perhaps leave an indelible mark… “recognize others worth and then build on the worth.” He said, “through logic, through style and through content what stands out and sticks in...is emotion (heart).”
Modules from the same workshop were also delivered at the quarterly conference of Philippines South Network, a network of HR professionals and practitioners. And, last October 05, Mandhyan and Francis Kong of the Philippines shared the stage of a Leadership forum held NXP, Philips, worldwide. Both speakers, powerful and dynamic, plugged at authenticity and emotional intelligence as two of the most essential elements of effective leadership.
"The workshop," said one of the participants "has given me massive insights into how I think, speak and lead. In fact the elements covered in this workshop are much more relevant at the organizational level where transparency, authenticity and effectiveness are key factors in teams working in high harmony and delivering more than expected.
Raju's styles is high energy, high impact with several situational and humorous interludes that even if the material gets too deep, the laughter lets it sink in nice and easy."
Those interested in wanting to lead through logic, styles and emotional content need not wait longer because in November, Mandhyan will now take "Leadership through Power Conversations" from the Philippines to India, Sri Lanka and then to Singapore for a series of private and public conferences.
