Food Fete Invites Gourmet Food, Beverage and Kitchenware Companies to Meet Editors Jan. 22, 2007 in San Francisco

Food Fete will hold its next invitation-only press reception for gourmet food, beverage and kitchenware companies on Jan. 22, 2007.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (PRWEB) October 11, 2006 –- Food Fete™, producers of invitation-only press events that showcase new gourmet food, beverage and kitchenware products, announced is will produce its fifth Food Fete press reception on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007 in San Francisco, and has begun accepting submissions from companies wanting to participate.

Companies and public relations agencies representing clients interested in exhibiting their newest products to the food and lifestyle press can download Food Fete’s Call for Entries (PDF) at https://foodfete.wordpress.com/files/2006/10/ff-call-for-exhibitors.pdf for more information.

Entering its third year, Food Fete connects food, beverage and kitchenware products with journalists who write about them. Rather than compete for media attention against thousands of other exhibitors at large trade shows, Food Fete participants can mingle, sample their products and build relationships with editors in a casual, cocktail party setting. Food Fete is limited to 30 companies, keeping the event small and extremely focused, which continues to be one of its biggest media draws.

“Food Fete adds an important layer of personal, face-to-face interaction with journalists that not only helps build relationships for the long term, but offers the rare opportunity to get immediate feedback from an influential group of food editors,” said Jeff Davis, founder and producer of Food Fete. “Food Fete is an extremely efficient way to accomplish PR goals in a short period of time, particularly for food companies that don’t regularly engage in media relations activities.”

Past Food Fete events have attracted consumer and trade editors from media outlets including Bon Appetit, Fast Company, Food Network, Forbes.com, Good Housekeeping, Gourmet, Gourmet News, Martha Stewart Living, Saveur and The San Francisco Chronicle, among many others.
