Gatherspace’s Requirements Management Software is Available at a Non-Incremental Pricing Model Allowing Smaller Customers Access to Robust Capabilities

Gatherspace’s hosted Requirements Management Software offers a low-cost fee structure which aims to provide a rich, high-end solution for small, medium and large organizations.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 11, 2006 -– Gatherspace.com (http://www.gatherspace.com/) today announced the release of their current Requirements Management solution using a cost structure radically different from similar tools on the market. Other vendors on the market providing similar requirements management solutions charge customers a seat-based fee for incremental users. In cost, this translates to a company paying over $15,000 and up to get a team of 20 up and running. Gatherspace.com aims to provide a monthly fee for 20 users at a fraction of the cost of other tools.

The Gatherspace.com solution is investing heavily into the core product by adding more capabilities with a key goal in mind to not make the product overly complex. A host of key features added to the current product include:

-- Traceability Matrix Reports: Provides a view of dependencies between features, requirements use cases and test cases.

-- Issue Management: Gatherspace.com now includes the capability to manage issues/bugs and associate them back to features and requirements.

-- Test Case Management: A highly requested feature was to manage and associate test cases to requirements and use cases. This set of features will be launched sometime in Q4 2006.

-- Use Case Modeling: Gatherspace provides a unique way of depicting the use case model in simple HTML view. This report produces a high level use-case model on the fly.

-- File Attachments: When defining requirements and features, you can associate images, spreadsheets and other docs and have them printable in the reports
