This October Foursided Custom Framing Gallery expanded its popular Lakeview location into Andersonville's eclectic arts community (5061 N. Clark at the corner of Carmen). Foursided was created for art enthusiasts who are looking for more than just average picture framing. Foursided's founders know that you can't go wrong with incredible selection, style and original artwork.

Promising to provide a memorable framing experience, Foursided's staff includes experienced picture framers and trained artists from a variety of backgrounds. This newest location combines the nostalgia and warmth of an old style neighborhood shop with the sophistication and quality of a contemporary art gallery. Foursided works with customers on any framing need, ranging from original artwork, family treasures and custom mirrors to diplomas, lighthearted posters, and memorabilia. The utmost care for your artwork is taken and all work is done on premises by Foursided's experienced consultants.

Foursided is for the sophisticated collector or for the casual art love. Unlike most picture framing shops who have limited selection and uninspiring staff, Foursided's creative consultants will help you make an informed decision about how to frame your treasures for the best long-term value and to preserve your art for generations. Foursided has numerous ideas that will help meet your budget and individual needs.

"We are strong believers in supporting the local arts community and providing superior quality picture framing. The store is an outgrowth of our long-standing Lakeview stores that combine art and framing with antiques, handmade cards, letterpress stationary, and unique gifts." says co-founder Todd Mack.

The shop's interior and exterior were designed to have a contemporary feel balanced by a traditional neighborhood aesthetic. Contemporary accents include a sleek black wood floor and large open windows with changing displays of ephemera and artwork. This is in contrast to the old-time neighborhood feel created by the original antique oak general store counter and wood ceiling beams restored to their original look and adorned with Foursided's signature star tin ceiling.

A grand opening celebration to mingle with other art enthusiasts, while viewing the works of talented local Chicago artists will be held in November. For more information about Foursided call (773) 506-8300 or visit on-line at http://www.foursided.com.
