Fractal Edge releases several editions of Fractal:Intelligence, the cornerstone of the enterprise visualization suite, to address both the sophisticated feature and data needs of Wall Street clients, and by providing low-cost entry level products so any organization can utilize this powerful and interactive visualization tool.

Fractal:Edge, recent winner of the Waters Magazine Award for Best Visualization Provider, announced the latest full release of Fractal:Intelligence 2.2. The cornerstone of the Fractal:Edge enterprise visualization suite, Fractal:Intelligence provides users with a highly configurable and easy-to-navigate picture of their data in which outliers, anomalies and patterns become instantly recognizable.

Fractal:Intelligence 2.2 includes a number of functions that support enterprise deployments and encompasses a wide range of data sources, including SQL, DB2®, Oracle®, OLAP, Notes®, XML, Excel® and real-time data feeds. The latest release includes new business features such as adding user comments to Fractal Maps, allowing them to be exported into interactive Flash files to share more broadly, and technical features such as dual core processor support and Microsoft Vista compatibility.

“Fractal:Edge understands the need to maintain robustness in their products while proactively addressing new business requirements and technical architecture needs.” said Kerry Gerontianous, President for Incremax Technologies, a Gold Certified Microsoft Partner and a Fractal Edge Solution Partner. “Key to flexibility is being able to link to virtually any data source without replication as well as incorporating new features that enhance the interactive and visual analysis.”

Fractal:Intelligence 2.2 has been released in several editions ranging from a low-cost entry-level product based around Microsoft Excel to a fully-functional enterprise solution that allows users to configure Fractal Maps from a broad range of data sources.
