Crawford, who grew up on welfare, in an impoverished North Carolina tobacco farming community, is now one of the recognized experts of Internet marketing. A recent one week sale that he conducted offering digitally downloaded information products (which were mostly given to him) generated over $100,000 and paid for Crawford's daughters wedding.
