Strategic partnership between Matchbin and ArcaSearch will make MyAdSource the premier online solution for publishers of print classified ads.

Matchbin, the leading provider of online Publisher Marketplaces, announced today a strategic partnership with ArcaSearch, the provider of searchable online digital files for print newspapers. Through the joining of technologies they will officially launch MyAdSource to members attending the National Newspaper Association Convention in Oklahoma City this week.

“We are thrilled to partner with ArcaSearch in offering this innovative, multifaceted tool,” says Matchbin CEO Reed Brown. “Our solution is unique in that we allow an individual to conduct an online search for an item or service, and instantly see all print and online ads. Displayed print ads results are PDF images of the ad as it appears on the classified page. This unique feature creates greater value for the seller, newspaper and even for an advertiser who has an ad adjacent to the classified,” says Brown.

MyAdSource provides an unparalleled technology that utilizes the access and search-ability of the internet, combined with the scope and reach of print classified ads. This unprecedented approach offers all newspapers an opportunity to gain back market share by being apart of an interconnected nationwide classified ad network.

“We are excited to be able to offer the consumer the ability to view print classifieds online,” says ArcaSearch owner Cal Sixta. “This alone will add much more value to the classified ad. MyAdSource provides an exclusive opportunity for Newspapers to combine their strength in order to create an online presence unmatched by any other entity out there,” says Sixta.

Standard industry solutions only allow online and print classified ads to be searched within a single marketplace. MyAdSource is the first to provide the ability to simultaneously search online and print classifieds on a local, state and global basis. Through this solution, print classifieds can take back market share that has been lost to online competitors such as Craigslist.

Currently, the Utah Press Association and Oklahoma Press Association are on board and will be recommending MyAdSource to all newspapers within their respective associations.

“We love it! This is the future of online advertising,” says Kirk Parrish of the Utah Press Association. “So far, every newspaper that sets eyes on MyAdSource, loves it too.”

Since 2001, the newspaper print classified industry has been in steady decline and now stands in jeopardy of loosing the battle. MyAdSource will empower newspapers to take back what has been lost.

Other strategic partnerships to MyAdSource will be announced in the coming weeks.
