Jan Oliver Selected as Cover Artist for Summer 2006 Tradicion Revista

Jan Oliver, well known for both her paintings of Saints and of the Southwest, was recently selected as cover artist for the Summer 2006 edition of Tradicion Revista-a prestigious publication featuring Spanish Colonial art and other art found in the Hispanic Southwest.

Pueblo, CO (PRWEB) October 13, 2006 -- Jan Oliver, well known for both her paintings of Saints and of the Southwest, was recently selected as cover artist for the Summer 2006 edition of Tradicion Revista-a prestigious publication featuring Spanish Colonial art and other art found in the Hispanic Southwest.

Tradicion Revista is published by LPD Press (www.nmsantos.com) - a major publisher of books covering the devotional arts of the Southwest. Her painting entitled "Our Lady of Guadalupe" is a contemporary interpretation of the familiar icon of Our Lady of Guadalupe. "My goal is to share a message of peace with the world through my works.
