Airport Express Brings Troops Home for the Holidays

Continental Airport Express, Chicago’s premier ground transportation provider, announces Home for the Holidays, a program offering active military personnel free rides to and from Chicago airports between December 23 and December 27, 2006.

CHICAGO (PRWEB) October 14, 2006 -- Continental Airport Express, Chicago’s premier ground transportation provider, announces Home for the Holidays, a program offering active military personnel free rides to and from Chicago airports between December 23 and December 27, 2006.

To participate, active military personnel must be dressed in full military uniform and show a military I.D. to the driver or the representative at the Airport Express counter. Airport Express provides this door-to-door service in downtown Chicago and Lincoln Park.

“All of us here at Airport Express support our hard-working and courageous troops,” says John McCarthy, president, Airport Express. “We are very pleased and honored to do anything we can to simplify their long journey home during the holiday season.”

Airport Express is also the preferred ground transportation provider for Great Lakes Naval Base in Great Lakes, Ill.

Founded in 1853 as the Parmelee Transportation Company, Continental Airport Express currently transports more than one million passengers annually to and from Chicago’s O’Hare and Midway Airports. Its services are offered to and from downtown Chicago, as well as most Chicago neighborhoods and its surrounding suburbs. For more information visit www.airportexpress.com.
