Winston-Salem, NC (PRWEB) October 17, 2006 – SilkRoad technology, inc. has unveiled several new features for OpenHire, the web-based applicant tracking system. The enhancements to OpenHire include artificial intelligence search, proactive candidate matching, and enhanced reporting tools. OpenHire is part of SilkRoad’s Life Suite of web-based talent management systems.

The new OpenHire applicant tracking feature set includes:

  • Hot Matches – Each time a recruiter activates a new job listing, OpenHire uses artificial intelligence search algorithms to generate a list of potential job candidate matches culled from the company’s internal resume database. Candidates are ranked based on their compatibility with job requirements included in a job listing. Recruiters using OpenHire Hot Matches to review known candidates as well as those generated by job listings and other external candidate search activities, enabling more thorough and efficient searches that positively impact the bottom line.
  • Recruiter Job Agent – By combining the artificial intelligence candidate ranking functionality used for Hot Matches with user-defined thresholds for candidate pre-qualification, the OpenHire Recruiter Job Agent proactively e-mails candidate match advisories to recruiters with whatever frequency the recruiter defines.
  • Candidate Job Agent – Using an internal or external candidate interface, potential candidates use the OpenHire Candidate Job Agent to register for automatic e-mail updates on job openings that match their qualifications. OpenHire’s artificial intelligence search tool compares the candidate’s resume with all available positions and generates automated e-mail advisories when it finds a potential match.
  • Ad Hoc Report Builder – OpenHire end users have always enjoyed a wide range of pre-defined database reports. The new OpenHire Ad Hoc Report Builder takes reporting a step further, enabling simple custom report generation, custom template saving, and data export in XML, XLS, HTML and CSV formats.
