-Launch of Vincera Intelligent ProtectionTM document security software at top security conference yields InfoSec thought leadership for digital document security and tracking-

At the conference, Vincera's team launched Vincera Intelligent ProtectionTM (VIP), the document security software program that allows VIP clients to protect, monitor, measure and manage the e-distribution of intellectual property and other sensitive data. Using a patent-pending document threading capability that operates according to user-selected guidelines Vincera labels “business friendly distribution,” VIP deters and detects document breach, and it disables access to the documents from the point of breach forward if the VIP customer so chooses. For instance, with the click of a button, the customer can decide to merely track that PDF files are sent, by whom, and from which machines; completely enable or disable a document; set expiration rules; “dial in” the appropriate security level for a given document; or protect sensitive PDF files from all but an approved base of users and machines, at specific times, simultaneously preventing the further distribution of such files.

ASIS hosted more than 45,000 attendees and 2,200 vendors involved in security industries. Vincera’s VIP product launch brought a new angle to the show, however, because Vincera was the conference’s only software vendor that addressed digital document security and tracking. About 20% of Vincera booth visitors requested and received a demonstration of VIP document security on-site, and approximately 50 qualified leads were generated. Additionally, several potential partners and resellers for VIP were identified at ASIS.
