TravelStore, one of nation's top travel agencies, expands in California.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 15, 2006 -- TravelStore, the largest California-based travel agency in the state, announced it’s further expansion with the acquisition of Bridge Travel Group in Emeryville, In Transit Travel in Santa Clara and House of Travel in Sacramento.
Bridge Travel and In Transit Travel will become the company’s ninth and tenth branch locations, while House of Travel will relocate to the company’s existing Sacramento office. Combined, the acquisition adds 35 staff and $20 million in additional revenue, in both corporate and leisure business. This will increase TravelStore’s annual sales volume to over $240 million, cementing its position as California’s leading Travel Management company.
The acquisition also includes a senior’s group tour operation, Holtz Tours, and Italia Reservations, an Italy accommodations service.
Established in 1975, TravelStore is headquartered in Los Angeles and one of the nation’s leading travel management companies. In 2005 TravelStore became an ESOP company. And now counts approximately 300 associates in total.
