This week, Ryan Wiik is on location in Bucharest, Romania. He has a role in the feature, Timber Falls, a film financed by A-Mark and produced by Ascendant Pictures. This film marks the first “Hollywood feature film” for Norwegian actor Ryan Wiik and hopefully a long-term relationship with A-Mark Entertainment and Hollywood’s silver screens.
Over the past year, Ryan was a frequent visitor to A-Mark’s offices in Beverly Hills. “I wanted to work with these guys from the get-go” admits Ryan. He stated that his meetings with A-Mark executives covered his own film projects as well as A-Mark’s plans for the future.
“Out of all the talent we have looked at, Ryan Wiik stands out. I believe that his reel is one of the best I’ve seen from an actor who does not have major movie credits”, says Mike Marvin, head of production at A-Mark.
A-Mark Entertainment was founded in 2004. The company just produced Alpha Dog, starring Justin Timberlake, Sharon Stone and Bruce Willis, and Camille starring James Franco and Sienna Miller. Both films are due for release in 2007.
“I can confirm that we have given Ryan different scripts over the last year”, says Marvin. “We hope to be in business with him in 2007.”
