It’s like trying to take off from a stopped position while holding the brake lever… the engine can’t move the bike, so it stalls. That’s better than launching yourself over the handlebars or smashing your expensive brake caliper.” When the bike is unlocked the BrakeBolt is clipped to the rider’s keys so there is no chance of the MID accidentally locking during riding.
