DigitalPulp Publishing Announces a New Memoir by a First-time Author

Author Dennis Lid shares his life’s journey as a soldier and a biker in his new eBook memoir, First to Last (The Tale of a Biker), published under DigitalPulp Publishing’s ByteIt Press Imprint.

Palm Springs, CA (PRWEB) October 17, 2006 -- DigitalPulp Publishing (www.digitalpulppublishing.com), an independent ePublishing company, continues to introduce new voices to eBook readers.

First to Last (The Tale of a Biker) is the true story of a soldier's life through the motorcycles he has owned and the most prominent action events that have occurred on those bikes and during his lifetime. First to Last (The Tale of a Biker) by first-time author Dennis Lid is published by ByteIt Press under the ISBN number 9781933746135.

With an international tone and a heavy accent on Asia, First to Last (The Tale of a Biker) is action oriented during peace and war, and spans the generations in its common appeal to motorcyclists, hobbyists, adventurers and romanticists of all ages. It is a factual, first-hand account of the tale of a biker, a warrior and an incurable romantic.

The book includes maps and photographs with captions that follow portions of the story line. First to Last (The Tale of a Biker) combines historical nostalgia with adventure romance. The weave of motorcycle, man and events is nothing less than a lifelong search for the Holy Grail that culminates in answering the question of where one's treasure lies.

Dennis Lid served in the U.S. Army Infantry, Airborne and Special Forces worldwide during peace and war for over 20 years. He retired from the army in 1980. Since retirement, the author has busied himself with composing articles about motorcycling, the military, politics and other subjects as a freelance writer. His interest in motorcycles continues unabated, although he no longer rides. Lid lives in La Quinta, California with his wife, Bi Yu, and in near proximity to his four children.

Mr. Lid works part-time at College of the Desert Eastern Valley Campus in Indio as a computer laboratory assistant. He bids God speed to all his fellow soldiers and motorcyclists.
