Availability of Xilinx Virtex-4 LX200 Multi-FPGA and ARM Development Platform through HiTech Global

SAN JOSE, California (PRWEB) October 16, 2006 -- HiTech Global, the premier provider of leading edge FPGA and ARM Processors based solutions, announced the availability of Xilinx Virtex-4 LX200 Multi-FPGA and ARM Core Tiles Development Platform.

The HTG-MPSOC platform combines the robust and high-performance features of Xilinx Virtex-4 LX200 FPGA with ARM Core Tiles. Supported by up to 8 Virtex-4 LX200 FPGAs, up to 4 ARM926EJ-S or ARM1136JF-S Core Tiles modules, and mainstream interfaces and connectors, the HTG-MPSOC Platform enables SoC developers to verify custom IP cores, prototype complete systems develop and test device drivers for high-end projects.

The HTG-MPSOC platform consists of a "Base" board and multiple "FPGA" module..

The "Base" board provides power, memory, and standard peripherals used in embedded and wireless applications. The Base board offers four connectors which provide interfaces to the "FPGA" modules. The Base board also provides four "Expansion" connectors with 288 signal pins to support add-on modules.

Each compact "FPGA" module is populated with Xilinx Virtex-4 XC4VLX200-10FF1513 FPGA, 64MB SDRAM/32MB Flash, 4MB SRAM, JTAG port, on-board regulator, and connectors to host ARM Core Tiles for ARM926EJ-S or ARM1136JF-S (or other custom modules)
