With ten years of providing proven training, competency assessment and e-learning to companies of all sizes, Edge has taken its most successful courses and paired them with the industry’s best and most experienced facilitators and coaches to develop this fully comprehensive leadership academy.

Before beginning the program, participants complete the Edge Essential Leadership Suite, which offers three unique assessment instruments covering 16 core competencies and provides a gap analysis of the participant’s current leadership knowledge. Results are then incorporated into a tailored action plan which will be used to implement improvements and change based upon skills used in best-practice organizations.

“The program focuses on expanding the participants’ skills, developing their leadership behaviors and helping them format an action plan for development with commitment, specific and measurable goals and a clear timeline for implementation,” said Iyoob.

Each session concentrates on different leadership proficiencies including trust and ethics, effective communication, conflict resolution, problem solving and team building. During the course, interaction with a diverse group of leaders and experienced instructors allows for sharing of ideas and perspectives.

At the course’s conclusion, graduates will follow up with another assessment to view measurable improvements in gap analysis. Armed with new and improved skills, participants are now ready to incorporate their plans in the work environment. To further their enhancement, the new leaders will have access to online course content and e-learning courses for one year.

Edge’s Academy of Leadership is open to leaders and managers at all levels of experience. Limited to no more than 25 participants, courses can be held on site to meet a company’s needs or at training facilities located in Richmond, Virginia.
