The HTG-V5PCIE platform combines the robust features of LX50T device to offer a high-performance and low-cost x8 end-point PCI Express development platform. The embedded PCI Express End-Point Block and eight RocketIO GTP transceivers of the on-board Virtex-5 LXT FPGA provide easy implementation of PCI Express function on the HTG-V5PCIE Platform.

The HTG-V5PCIE platform also features an on-board DDR2 SO-DIMM socket, flash memory for configuration bit stream storage, SGMII, Tri-Mode Ethernet, and 8 SMA (connected to two RocektIO GTP transceivers), Support for add-on daughter cards are provided through 64 pairs of differential I/Os and high-speed Samtec connectors.

Another High-speed connector is also available to support HiTech Global’s off-the-shelf DVI, USB, Cameralink, and I/O expansion modules.
