Play2Win, a new television game show, is using 900 numbers and text messages as a way to involve its audience to participate in its live program.

Advanced Telecom Services has been selected as the service bureau to provide interactive audience participation services for the Play2Win television program. Play2Win is a late night television game show that debuted on national television on Monday, October 16, 2006.

With Play2Win, viewers are able to call a 900 number for a chance to appear on the live television show. Viewers are also able to enter via text message or online. Those randomly selected from the three entry methods appear live on Play2Win for a chance to win a cash prize.

“We are pleased to see many television shows once again recognizing what a powerful medium 900 numbers can be for audience participation,” said Bob Bentz, director of marketing for Advanced Telecom Services. “By combining 900 numbers with text messaging, you are offering all demographics the chance to participate and get involved with your television programming.”
