The Tribute Center Mission "...embodies the need to gather at the World Trade Center site, connect to the people and places, and reflect on the events of February 26, 1993 and September 11, 2001." CEO of the September 11 Families' Association, Jennifer Adams, envisioned a visitor center at ground zero where guided tours of the site could enrich the public while giving tribute to the tragic loss of life. In response to this, Direct Technology Innovations' (DTI), Robert Cleveland presented to the Association a mobile ticketing program which would facilitate the volunteer guided tours program and specifically support a capacity management requirement needed by the September 11 Families' Association for the Tribute Center.
"Our unique mobile ticketing program would allow the volunteer tour guides to process the Tribute Center's ticketing with ease," states Robert Cleveland. "Each day thousands of visitors from around the world will be gathering at ground zero to pay respect to those who lost their lives on September 11th. Our mobile ticketing program will help visitors purchase their tickets on-site, and provide accurate visitor information and statistics for the foundation."
DTI, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a national Merchant Service Provider, is the national leader in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry with their registered Swipe N'Go® technology. They also hold contracts with the largest ground transportation providers with their innovative mobile ticketing and reservation program.
