Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 25, 2006 -- The "Prix de la Photographie, Paris" (Px3) announces a new deadline, December 15, 2006. The new deadline is two weeks prior to the deadline previously announced.
Px3 strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris. The competition is open to all professional and non-professional photographers.

Px3 Winners:
Winning photographs from this competition will be displayed in a high-profile gallery in Paris in March of 2007 and winning photographs will be published in the full-color Px3 Annual Book.
Px3 Awards:
Both professional and non-professional photographers compete for the top award, the Px3 Grand Prize. Non-professional photographers compete for the Px3 Best New Talent award and 2,000 euros. In addition, Certificates of Excellence and Honorable Mentions are awarded in all categories.
Px3 Categories:
Advertising, Photojournalism, Book, Fine Art, Nature and Portraiture.
Px3 Jury:
The Px3 Jury is composed of internationally recognized editors, publishers, curators, gallery owners, consultants, creative directors, and art directors.
