Seattle Magazine Celebrates The Best Of 2006 Tickets on Sale Now for the "Party of the Year" Benefiting the March of Dimes

Seattle magazine's highly anticipated second annual "Party of the Year" will be held November 16 at Jonas/Jensen Fremont Film Studios. Recipients of this year's Best of 2006 awards will be announced during the evening along with the release of the December 2006 issue. A silent auction benefiting the Washington state chapter of the March of Dimes will be held and participants entered in a raffle for a trip for two to Mexico.

Seattleites search no more, the best the city has to offer will be selected, bound and delivered November 16 at Seattle's most anticipated party, Seattle magazine's Best of 2006, the 2nd annual "Party of the Year". The red carpet will be rolled out for party guests at the Jonas/Jensen Fremont Film Studios.

Attendees will be transported into an exhilarating, virtual multi-media urban scene, where the city and neighborhoods will come alive Seattle magazine style. The evening will be loaded with a dramatic backdrop of visual flash, state-of-the-art lighting and ultra-lounges seductively lit, incorporating Seattle's Best of 2006. This is the "Party of Year" with the "who's who" of Seattle expected to attend. Recipients of this year's Best of 2006 awards, selected by the editors and readers of Seattle magazine, will be announced during the evening along with the highly anticipated release of the December 2006 issue.

The award categories range from the arts to the bar scene, shopping, beauty and health, food and wine, from kids to the environment and of course people, places and services Also honored at the party is the "Seattle 26,"Seattle Magazine's list of the most influential people as featured in the November 2006 issue...and what a list it is!

At the Best of 2006 party, presented by Vulcan Real Estate, guests will sip, savor and sample from many past award winners including 18 of the areas best restaurants and wine tasting with 15 of the state's best wineries. A multitude of cocktail bars will present Signature Seattle SKYY cocktails, created by the experts at Tini Bigs martini bar. The evening will also feature a silent auction benefiting the Washington state chapter of the March of Dimes and all participants will be entered in a raffle for a trip for two to Mexico, sponsored by KWJZ radio. Musical performances by Deems Tsutakawa, Cheryl Serio, LeRoy Bell and His Only Friends and the Dudley Manlove Quartet will be given throughout the event. Sponsors Clearwire and Caffe Vita together will provide an Internet café experience with a full espresso bar, savory food items and amazing dessert creations.

Tickets are $50 and include entertainment, food, wine and beer sampling, as well as, two drink tickets. They are available for purchase at: Valet parking will be provided by Butler Valet. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
