Producer, and descendant of the famed Warner Bros. family, Cass Warner, announces the creation of the non-profit foundation “The Dream Factory,” a place where dreams are discovered, renewed, rehabilitated and made to come true.

Realizing the importance of knowing and following one’s dreams, Cass says, “I feel not only the desire but also the responsibility to pass along the Warner Bros. philosophy of how they viewed every barrier encountered as an incentive to do the next thing -- pursue and achieve their dreams and visions.”

The underlying concept of “The Dream Factory” is to develop and demonstrate approaches that truly motivate our youth to want to learn about, be interested in, and more understanding of their fellow man.

"The Hero Next Door" series will be part of “The Dream Factory’s” Inspirational Library -- students going out into the community to find someone who is a stellar example of doing something to improve the quality of life. Students then create a documentary that highlights those contributions.

Through the making of films, students become competent in a particular area of filmmaking, and learn certain skills through the activities and products they create. Film has a magic to it, and it naturally makes participants part of a team effort. They, also, learn cooperative group skills that give them a taste of the excitement that comes in being part of a community effort.

The Library will also house interviews with accomplished people from all walks of life sharing what has been successful for them, as well as the barriers they have overcome, to get to where they are. Some of the interviews that have already been shot are of Cass interviewing actors Matthew McConaughey and Giovanni Ribisi.
