Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) October 20, 2006 -- Winning Edge International, Inc. (OTCBB:WNED), America’s only publicly traded handicapper, has retained Fortune Broadcasting Communications (FBC) (www.fortunebroadcasting.com), a division of Clearvision International, Inc., to coordinate its public relations effort. Winning Edge is headquartered in Las Vegas, home to major gambling and entertainment operations such as MGM Mirage, Harrah’s, the Bellagio, and Wynn Resorts. FBC will distribute a Winning Edge two column newspaper article to over 10,000 newspapers nationwide; 8500 weeklies and 1500 dailies. One hundred of these newspapers have already committed to running a story on WNED over the next several months. Additionally, FBC estimates that as many as 400 newspapers throughout the USA may pick up the story.
Early results are already in on the media campaign -- The Washington Post ran an article, Sunday, October 15, featuring excerpts from an interview with Root. Three morning drive time radio shows featured Root on Friday, October 13: WOCM Radio syndicated in Maine, Delaware, Virginia, and New Jersey, KKJG in Northern California, and KFDI in Kansas. Last month, FBC booked Root on morning drive programs on WCMF, WDYL, WARW, KMVR, KOBE, KSTJ, WXRK, WBZX, and Sirius Satellite radio.
In early November, FBC will release a Winning Edge public service announcement news radio segment distributed to 5000 stations in news and finance genres. Over 200 stations have already committed to running the segment, with many running it more than once, and with more possibly signing on. The radio segments should run through March 2007.
