YouBeThere.com, a Web site that allows its members to write reviews of albums, concerts, movies, books, traveling and more, has launched.
Writers can chat, participate in forums and comment on other profiles about reviews at YouBeThere.com. All of these options are possible with their new subscription service at http://www.youbethere.com at a cost of $49 per year.
“Writers can write about their interests and memories in simple and convenient way,” said founder Runar Mar Bragason. “They can write about things they’ve heard or seen, participated in or even things they’ve collected, wherever and whenever they like.”
At YouBeThere.com, writers can write material for several different categories that interest them such as music, travel or television. When visitors visit and search the site, they will have access to the search results for reviews on the site. Visitors and members can read the material on the site but only subscribers can vote and comment on other reviews and posts.
Pictures and further information about the site are available at http://www.youbethere.com/learn.aspx. This service will expand from offering only English and Icelandic languages. One of the goals of YouBeThere.com is to make the site accessible in more languages.
YouBeThere.com is a privately owned company that aims to offer a subscription service to a Web site that focuses on reviewing various topics. Developers of the site plan to develop their site further to make it available in several languages. They also plan to make changes to the Web site so the subscribers have access to more information from their own writings like statistics, PDF printing, extended lists etc. in an easy way.
