Brooke Trace Gallery Hosts Art Opening to Raise Funds for Annual Education Scholarship Fund, Friday, October 27 from 6 to 10 p.m.

The Brooke Trace Gallery will be hosting an Art Gallery Exhibit Opening, Friday, October 27nd from 6-10 p.m., The event takes place at 1098 NE 45th Street (Floranada Avenue). The Brooke Trace Gallery Hosts Art Gallery Opening in conjunction with The The Oakland Park-Wilton Manors Chamber of Commerce will raise funds for the new annual Education Scholarship Fund.

(PRWEB) October 21, 2006 -- The Brooke Trace Gallery's October Art Gallery Opening will be host an event in conjunction with the Oakland Park Wilton Manors Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held Friday October 27th from 6-10 PM. The gallery will premiere a new artist, Tim Otte, renowned for his celebrity portraits, tropical abstracts and more. The gallery will showcase a collection including the talents of Picasso, Salvador Dali, Peter Max, Tripp Harrison, Mike Turner, Brooke Trace, Max Gold, Ashton Howard, John Bowen, Naomi Malka Litzenblatt, and Jeff Shulman. A special exhibit of Italian born impressionist Francesco Alessandro Anciani has been held over for your enjoyment.

Anciani has generously donated one of the works, "C'era una Volta", an image of Jesus, to Apostle Charles Tolbert from Christ Found All Creation Saved. The Gallery Opening will launch the sale of raffle tickets for this painting that will benefit the Community Assistance Program for the Homeless. The raffle tickets are $25 each and limited to 1000. The drawing has been rescheduled to be held at the gallery opening Friday, December 8th.

The gallery will host the evening with the Oakland Park-Wilton Manors Chamber of Commerce as an after hours networking opportunity. The net profit from proceeds raised at the event will go toward a new annual Education Scholarship Fund that is being established to benefit one student from each of the two cities each year.

The fund raising activities will include a silent auction with items donated by area businesses and a special drawing for a door prize for attendees. Complimentary hor d’oeuvres will be available, with a nominal donation being taken for beverages. There will be a $5.00 donation for admission taken at the door. There are sponsorship opportunities available for the event. We are proud of our event sponsors: The Chef’s Table, Rainforest Designs, Center for Optimal Health, Bravo, and more.

The Brooke Trace Gallery hosts its art gallery events and exhibit openings on Friday each month. Each event features new artist exhibitions and art from classic and modern masters, ranging from the fine art of Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Peter Max and others. Events have included featured artists meet and greet, and eclectic live entertainment from musical performances, cultural dance performances to live body painting art.

Refreshments and hor d'oeuvres will be served. There will be a silent auction hosting a variety of items donated by local supporting businesses. Local residents are invited to enjoy an evening of art and entertainment.
