SoulTracks (http://www.soultracks.com), America’s most popular soul music website, has announced the list of nominees for its 2006 Readers Choice Awards, the largest international awards dedicated to independent soul music-–music released by artists independent of the major international record labels.
Between now and November 15, SoulTracks will be conducting an online poll of its substantial readership to choose the year’s top Male Vocalist, Female Vocalist, Duo or Group, Album, and in a new category for this year, Internet Radio Station. The increased attention on Soul Music has also increased the attention given to our Readers Choice Awards, and we expect participation will be fantastic among soul fans everywhere.”
