SoulTracks Announces Annual Reader Choice Awards Finalists
SoulTracks.com, the most popular soul music Website in the world, has announced the finalists for its annual Readers Choice Awards, the world's leading awards dedicated to independent Soul Music. SoulTracks' readers will be voting for the winners of this year's awards between now and November 15.
ANN ARBOR, MI (PRWEB) October 24, 2006 -- SoulTracks (www.soultracks.com), America’s most popular soul music website, has announced the list of nominees for its 2006 Readers Choice Awards, the largest international awards dedicated to independent soul music-–music released by artists independent of the major international record labels.
Between now and November 15, SoulTracks will be conducting an online poll of its substantial readership to choose the year’s top Male Vocalist, Female Vocalist, Duo or Group, Album, and in a new category for this year, Internet Radio Station. The ten nominees in each category are among the brightest stars of independent soul music.
“Last year we were overwhelmed by the interest shown by soul music fans around the world in our event,” said SoulTracks publisher Chris Rizik. “And this year Soul Music has had a banner year of growth, and is now among the fastest rising musical genres in the world.
