Athletique's newest products, the DuPod and the MyPod have been nominated for consideration in the 2006 Chicago Innovation awards. A total of 220 new products and services have been nominated, of which 10 will be chosen as winners. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, October 30 at the Goodman Theater.
The goal of the Chicago Innovation Awards is to recognize, educate and inspire. Now in its fifth year, the awards honor Chicago-area businesses and nonprofit organizations that develop the year's most innovative new products and services.
The awards were co-Founded by the Chicago Sun-Times and Kuczmarski & Associates. The Chicago Sun-Times, with a daily circulation of about 390,000, is one of the 10 largest daily newspapers in the United States and has won won eight Pulitzer Prizes.
