ViArt (http://www.viart.com) has developed their e-commerce shopping cart software to provide users with a form of customer support. The help desk support system comes in the design of an email support system, which enables customers to fill in an online form with a question or query. The emails are then stored within the help desk for a member of the administration team to assess.
The e-commerce shopping cart's integrated help desk support system accommodates many features to make the customer support service as regulated as possible.
"The emails that come through to the help desk support system can be set up into several categories and assigned an individual manager, as default these are: answered, awaiting response, investigating, proposed solution, closed, new and request more information. It is also easy to search and filter support requests in the help desk support system by several types of criteria: ticket number, email, name, summery etc," explains Mr. Birzul, Technical Director at Viart.com.
Many other features that make the help desk support system unique include its ability to create predefined responses to commonly asked questions, to set a different priority status to each request and its ability to automatically add Q & A's to a knowledge base. It is also possible for customers to retrieve their response either via email or by logging in to the users website, where they can view their support requests/responses via their "user home."
The scalable range of e-commerce shopping cart solutions offered by ViArt can also come complete with an integrated Content Management System (CMS) and an integrated Forum.
"We have designed an online e-commerce shopping cart system capable of performing all the functions required to run an online business. The integrated help desk support system, CMS and forum are all major features available to users that want them. Each product is aimed at creating a user-friendly and comprehensive environment for running an online store, whether the end user is a highly experienced PHP developer or a first time online shop owner," Mr. Birzul said.
The e-commerce shopping cart solutions offered by ViArt come in three main editions: Light, Standard and Enterprise. The Evaluation edition is a free and fully functional version of the Viart shopping cart that can be downloaded from the website at: http://www.viart.com/Free_Evaluation. Viart also provide web design, hosting and reseller packages.
