SendBigFiles.com, the free service for transferring large files operated by Encryptomatic llc, announced today that it is increasing by 50% the maximum size of the files it allows users to upload to its system, to 1.50 GB.

Restrictions on email file attachments have made it difficult to share files in an email. As files continue to get larger, users need a reliable and easy way to upload files. SendBigFiles.com answers this problem by allowing users to easily upload their files and receive a simple link that can be shared in an email without filling up the recipient's inbox.

Upon completion of the upload, the sender receives two html file links. The first link can be shared with friends or associates and allows them to download the file through a web browser simply by clicking on the link. The second link allows the file to be instantly removed from SendBigFiles.com servers.

While some file transfer services require a monthly subscription to send files larger than 250 MB, SendBigFiles.com remains a free service supported by advertisers. There are no preset limits on the number of times a file may be downloaded. Files are hosted indefinitely, or until they have not been downloaded for at least two weeks.

Users may upload any file to SendBigFiles.com's servers, as long as the file is legal, and the sender owns the copyright for the file. Permitted files includes audio records, home movies, business documents, marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, self-produced musical recordings, photographs, etc. Unpermitted files include any copyrighted material for which the uploader does not own the copyright.

SendBigFiles.com is vigilant about removing files that are obviously a violation of copyright laws. As a safeguard from illegal use, anyone who downloads a file can report that file as an abuse, and it will be removed from SendBigFiles.com servers.
