Imperial Optical, Inc., North America's leading independent contact lens distributor, today announced that David Angelici has joined Imperial Optical as District Sales Manager. In this newly created role, Mr. Angelici will be responsible for developing and managing independent eyecare practitioner relationships in his home state of Wisconsin, as well as creating and managing a regional team of account executives to increase Imperial's penetration in the Great Lakes region (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin).

Prior to joining Imperial Optical, Mr. Angelici served as Operations Manager for Wisconsin Vision Associates, a leading authorized contact lens distributor and optical buying group headquartered in Burlington, Wisconsin. In this capacity, Mr. Angelici was actively involved in both operational issues and practitioner relationship management. Mr. Angelici graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee and is a lifetime resident of Wisconsin.

Unfortunately for the small and medium-sized private practices, this focus on the top 20 percent means lower service levels and higher prices. At Imperial, our focus remains on serving the small and medium-sized practices."
