After a very successful event at Casino Marienlyst in Elsinore, Denmark with the Dane Henrik Witt as winner -- Showdown Poker Tour announces airing of the event on Viasat Sport 1 November 14th at 22h00.

Viasat Sport 1 has a reach of 1.2 million households. And with an additional airing on Viasat Sport 3 the week after, the reach of the first SDPT TV show will be 2.4 million households in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and the Baltics.
Winmedia is the new production partner for Showdown Poker Tour. The company has a long list of accomplishments in poker TV productions including The paddypowerpoker.com Irish Open which was broadcast live on SKY Sports, the Ladbrokespoker European championships 2006.
One show was produced from the Elsinore event, however, Winmedia will be producing four programmes for the next event in Switzerland which gives value to the clients and gives all a chance to be featured on TV.
The Showdown Poker Tour event at Casino Marienlyst was won by Dane Henrik Witt in an exciting and exhausting heads up against the Swede William Thorson.
With him at home Henrik Witt took the first prize of EUR 69,000 with William Thorson travelling back to Sweden with EUR 43,000 in his pockets.
