New service offers U.S. domestic dialing to iridium satellite phones.

Delta Wave Communications introduces Iridium® DirectCall™ service, which allows domestic or "866" dialing to Iridium® subscribers, regardless of their location. PIN code restrictions are also available.

Tom Clark, president and CEO of Delta Wave commented, "We developed this service as a result of complaints by Iridium airtime customers who are frustrated when it comes to calling personnel in remote locations. Not all long distance carriers allow dialing to the Iridium "country code" and dialing 15 digits add to their frustration." Another key benefit to subscribers is lower cost access to Iridium's network. "We are proud to offer this service which eases the pain when it comes to placing calls to Iridium Satellite phone subscribers, added Clark."

Delta Wave's DirectCall™ service is now available to any Iridium Satellite Service subscribers, whether they are signed on with Delta Wave, or any other service provider.
