Irvine, CA (PRWEB) October 30, 2006 -- It is a whole new look for ObesityHelp.com, the website created in 1998 to support and educate those on their journey through weight loss surgery. Providing members with a revamped profile system, blogging, and access to communicating with friends without sending emails, the new features allow for easy to use capabilities making experts out of the most timid computer users.

"The entire profile system has been revamped to make it much easier to use and customize," explained Loi Tran, ObesityHelp Inc. Chief Technology Officer. "The new features provide members with the opportunity to create their own personal web space and to communicate with their friends without logging onto their email accounts. Members will not need to understand HTML in order to jazz up their profiles. Our new point-and-click tools will allow members to personalize their profiles in minutes, by making it simple to upload backgrounds and change fonts, colors and borders to make their profile uniquely theirs."

Bariatric surgeons, nutritionists, psychologists, plastic surgeons and internal medicine doctors have responded with rave reviews about the website that has allowed them to reach out to the morbidly obese community.

"Our major focus is to create 'social' features that help make communicating with and meeting others much easier," Tran explained. "Our most recent launch is the tip of the iceberg of what is yet to come. Our team is developing and implementing even more interactive tools and features that will allow members, visitors, professionals and all who care about the disease of obesity to participate in a unique social network, a first of its kind in the bariatric and plastic surgery communities. This is an extremely exciting time for all of us, and we hope that every one of our members and visitors will enjoy the new site as much as we have enjoyed building it."

ObesityHelp.com™ aspires to defeat ignorance, isolation, and discrimination against the clinical disease of obesity through its website http://obesityhelp.com and its publication http://oh-magazine.com. For more information, please contact 1-866-WLS-INFO ext. 373.
