Kent Downtown Partnership Sponsors 2006 Holiday Open House – 'Tis the Season to be Shopping

The Kent Downtown Partnership (KDP) is excited to announce its sponsorship of the 2006 Holiday Open House – 'Tis the Season to be Shopping – to be held November 10 (10 am to 8 pm) and 11 (10 am to 6 pm) in downtown Kent. Now in its 20th year, the annual event will feature two distinctive days of holiday shopping and activities.

KENT, WA (PRWEB) October 28, 2006 -- Back by popular demand, Friday evening, November 10 (4 – 8 pm) will feature Girls' Night Out. Women are invited to preview holiday merchandise while enjoying some much deserved pampering and sampling wine, chocolates and other goodies throughout the evening. In addition, merchants will help shoppers to make out their own holiday wish lists to pass on to family and friends. On Saturday, shoppers will be treated to holiday decorations, music, door prizes and a window decorating contest at more than 20 downtown merchants.

In addition to KDP, the event is being sponsored by NW Spinal Rehabilitation Clinic, Auburn Regional Medical Center, American Charm and Renaissance Yarns.

"We've been holding the Holiday Open House for 20 years, and each year it gets bigger and better," KDP Executive Director Jacquie Alexander said. "This year we have some special surprises to share, so we hope folks will check out what downtown Kent has to offer."

The Kent Downtown Partnership is a private, 501(c)3 nonprofit business association. KDP works as a partnership with downtown businesses, property owners, residents, and the City of Kent to develop and promote the City of Kent as a vibrant downtown.
